Weather Updates
September 2011
It has been a very wet summer and a hot August but things are cooling down as we have moved into fall. Woodbine temperatures are warm to cool during the day and cool early morning, evening, and nights. Afternoon showers are common. Please dress appropriately. Remember we are at 7,000 feet (2,140 meters) so the weather will be cooler than in the lower urban areas.
At the moment there is no fire ban although we continue to exercise extreme caution with the use of fire due to general dry conditions. No individual fires are allowed and fires in designated areas are permitted only when authorized and supervised by Woodbine staff.
At this point there are no weather related event or program changes or cancellations.
Please check as we get closer to the date of scheduled events or programs. In the event of severe weather that might impact an event or program, updates will be posted at our website no later than two hours prior to the scheduled start time of the program or event.
